Total Defence Day Poster 2012 - Collage

1. Draw the words in the block letters.
Try to fill up the whole page.

2. Tear coloured papers, newspapers and magazines into small pieces.
You only need 1 page of each.
Use a container/ plastic bag to store the pieces of paper.

3. Paste the pieces of paper on alternate letters.
*Do NOT paste all the letters. Leave some of them empty for decorations later.

4. Create patterns and shapes to decorate the letters.
E.g. triangles, polka dots and lines.
You can use colour pencils, colour markers, colour pens, highlighters and crayons.
Outline the letters at the end.

5. Lastly, dip an old toothbrush into poster paint.
Use your thumb to rub against the toothbrush.
The paint should be sprinkled on the white spaces of the paper.
*Make sure you get rid of the excess paint in the toothbrush before starting.

Have Fun! ^^
