International Friendship Day Poster 2012 (Dot Painting)

Click on the photographs to enlarge them.

1. Sketch the friendship bears on grass.

Make them look chubby and cuddly. ^^

2. Add a slogan about friendship across the T-shirts.

3. Start the dot painting from the bottom of the bear's face. Use dark brown.

Make use of a cotton bud or the tip of a small paintbrush to do the dot painting. 

The dots do not have to exactly the same.

*Note: Do NOT use too much water. 

4. Use a lighter shade of brown to paint the upper portion of the face.

Yellow + Brown = Light Brown

*Ensure that the dots are small.

5. Repeat the same dot painting technique to the rest of the drawing.

P5 & P6 Cubism

Cubism is a drawing style used by Picasso. This week, you shall draw a basket of fruits using "Cubism".


"Click on the photographs to enlarge them and start the slideshow. 

1.  Draw a basket of fruits.

2. Use a black marker to draw shapes (triangles, squares, rectangles) over the original picture.

No curve lines, no ovals, no circles.

Erase away the pencil marks

3. Paint the drawing by blending colours to get different shades and tones. You learnt this technique in Term 1.

E.g. Red + Blue = Purple

Yellow + Red = Orange

Red + White = Pink
